2008 - off to a good start

Since so much has happened since we last posted, here are the highlights:

-We flew to Utah on Dec 18 with no problems
-We celebrated our 1st Anniversary on Dec. 19. We went to The Roof and had a table overlooking the SL temple. It was so beautiful with all the lights and the food was so yummy. We also walked around the temple grounds and did some Christmas shopping.
-Wes got very sick and had to go to the Instacare for some fluids. I felt so bad for him. He took a few days to recover.
-We had so much fun with Dax, Annabelle, and Cooper. They are all so cute and so sweet. I miss Cooper's puckering kisses, Annabelle wanting to be flipped everywhere, and Dax's hugs.
-Christmas was so fun and we were truly blessed. There was lots of opening of presents, great food, and seeing extended family. Thanks Moms and Dads and families for everything.
-Judd, Ken, Jeanne, Wes, and Chris all got new guns. And Dad got to try out his new gun finally. Boy did the boys all have fun!!
-Wes did a lot of shooting with his dad and had a great time.
-We had a night of Robins' Reunion on Mariah's birthday. It was a fun night to all be together again.
-We saw snow in big, fluffy flakes. It was so beautiful, albeit cold, the whole time we were there.
-We met Maria and Josh for lunch and had a great time getting to know Josh. Two thumbs up from us!
-We managed to get pretty much everything in our luggage (except the new gun). It was quite the challenge.
-We arrived back in Hershey on Jan. 1 again with no travel problems. Boy were we lucky!

We had a wonderful time being home for Christmas and New Year's Eve. We miss our families so much and are so grateful to them. We can't wait for the next go around, whenever that may be. Here's to a wonderful 2008. Who knows what the year may bring, but we hope it's full of good grades, a great score on Step 1 of the USMLE, and much happiness and joy.
