This past Saturday, Wes and I traveled down to DC so we could make it to the Edward Hopper exhibit that was at the National Gallery. It was our last chance to see it since the last day of the exhibit was on Monday. After trying to find parking on the Mall for 45 minutes, Wes decided to find a parking garage and we paid the $10 so we could do everything else we wanted to do that day. And since it was the last weekend of the exhibit, it was very busy and we waited in a long line that thankfully moved quickly so we could see the artwork. When we finally made it inside the exhibit, it was crammed full of people that were moving so slowly. Luckily Wes and I work through museums the same way and we were able to move around everyone and see what we wanted to see relatively easy. There were many pieces we really liked, but here are a few of our favorites that we saw:

New York Movie
Chop Suey

And of course, Nighthawks, which was so cool to see in person.
So we had a fun cultural experience on Saturday. We finished up the day by going to a few stores that aren't up in the Hershey area and going to a packed session at the DC temple. It was a great Saturday.
