Looking back and looking forward

We have been so blessed this past year. A few things that happened in 2009 that we're most thankful for...

1. a healthy and uncomplicated pregnancy
2. Charlie and his mostly pain-free delivery
3. parents and inlaws who have been so much help
4. Wes deciding what he wants to be when he "grows up"
5. lots of time spent in Utah
6. being able to work part-time from home
7. Wes's experience in Honduras
8. callings with the youth
9. surviving medical clerkships

What we're looking forward to this next year...

1. being done with interviews for residency
2. celebrating Charlie's first birthday
3. finding out where we match for residency
4. finishing up medical school
5. Outer Banks and graduation
6. settling in a new place, wherever that may be
7. starting residency (except the long hours)
8. Judd returning home from his six month deployment in Afghanistan
9. turning 30, if I can really be excited about that
