A few weeks ago, Wes's mom was in town and she was suggesting names for us to consider. We were in the car and she said something like, "How about Coco?" Wes confusedly asked, "Coco?" "Yea, as in Coco Chanel." Wes didn't know who she was, so as we were explaining to him, Charlie quietly says over and over, "Coco." And we just happened to be at the corner of Cocoa and Chocolate Ave. Charlie continues to call my baby bump "Coco," and we laugh every time. He totally knows who he is talking about.
So while it is unlikely we'll actually name her Coco, she will probably be called it as a nick name. But then there's the whole question of how in the world would we spell it? And does that mean she already has expensive taste in perfume and love No. 5?
