Apples, Pumpkins, and Crying

Wes actually had a day off today, which we were all so happy about.  It's been over three weeks since he's had a day where he hasn't been at the hospital at all.  So we took advantage of it and the season and found a little family apple picking yard.  Charlie's been sick the past few days and isn't quite back to himself, but we decided to get out of the house and get him some fresh air.  It was a bit touch and go there for a while with the crying and whining, but ultimately we had fun.  Charlie liked picking apples off the trees and putting them in the bag, and he liked pushing the wheel barrow around while picking out pumpkins.  He liked looking at the cows, but he didn't want to get too close.  Reese hung out in the Bjorn, but she wanted to be down running around too.  But we got a bag of apples to make a crisp and maybe some applesauce or something, and we found two small pumpkins for the kiddos.  Wes got apple cider, which he loves, and I picked some peach jam.  So we all came away happy.  Here's a bunch of pictures we took of our adventure...
