We had a great Christmas. Charlie was excited to go downstairs and see if Santa came. He was so happy to see the little kitchen from my Grandma Judy and Papa, and he saw his big "ruff" right away. Wes had fun taking pictures of the kids while I got breakfast in the oven, and then we had round one of opening gifts. Santa was very good to all of us this year, and it was so fun watching Charlie open gifts. All Charlie wanted was a dog and a firetruck. Looks like he was a good boy this year because he got both, along with lots of other gifts, including a trike from G&G Flint. Reese got some good stuff too - some toys she'll growing into using soon. We had to take a break from all the chaos and had breakfast and got ready for church. We had a nice program at church and came home for the last round of opening gifts and naps for the kids.
Here are two videos of Charlie opening gifts...

We had some friends over for dinner, which was a lot of fun and especially yummy. It was nice to celebrate the day with people we enjoy so much.
Most of all, it was great and important to remember the birth of our Savior and sacrifice he made for all of us. I loved Christmas as a child, and I love it even more being a parent and seeing the spirit of the season grow in my kids' hearts.
