A Break in Utah

Charlie, Reese, and I went to Utah for two weeks so the kids could see grandparents and some other family members, and so I could recharge.  We had a great time, and the kids had fun playing with grandparents and cousins.  Charlie loved his grandpas especially - he was always talking about them.  But he loved his hugs and kisses from his grandmas too.  And seeing Cooper and Hank was a huge highlight.  He actually teared up a bit when he parted from them.  Reese was such a good trooper for the whole thing.  Plus, she started sleeping better.  It was great.  And she's continued to do so now that we're back.  Yeah!!!  My parents totally spoiled us, as usually, and they were a great help with the kids.  I was even able to get away for a few short bursts.  I feel much more myself now that we're back.  We missed Wes so much, and we were so happy to see him when he picked us up.

A few stories of our flight back that are worth remembering...
At the Salt Lake airport, we set off an alarm, so they had to do a full pat down on me and search through all the bags and things we had.  The kids were great and just sat in the stroller, but what a pain.  Luckily we got to the airport early enough that we made it to the gate just fine,

Charlie loved riding on the airplane.  He had so much fun.  He would get on and immediately ask for juice and pretzels wanting the in flight snack.  On the flights back, we had turbulence on the landings.  Charlie thought it was fun, so he kept giggling and saying "wee."  Everyone around us started laughing and making comments that Charlie was keeping their minds off their tummies getting unsettled.  He sure cracks me up.

Here are some random photos.
