We had a nice Halloween. Charlie kept asking to go trick or treating even though he knew we had to wait until after dinner and for our friends came over. He was just so excited. The Updegroves and Stapinskis came over to go trick or treating with us, and it was so much fun. Wes had to work and didn't get off until we were all done. We missed him, but the kids did so great and got a lot of candy. I wasn't sure how Charlie would do since he was so timid last year. But he was a pro and went up to every house with Maggie and Natalie. We still need to work on him saying "trick or treat" and "thank you" out loud, but maybe next year. I held Reese for most of it, with her getting some candy along the way. But for about the last seven house, she started going crazy and just wanted to get down and go up to the doors to get her own candy. It was quite hilarious because she would get mad anytime I would pick her up. She just wanted to be down with the big kids, and she'd climb up the stairs to get to each door. She's such a funny stinker. When we were done with the houses, we spotted one of Derry Township's fire trucks on our corner handing out a bunch of candy. So we went over to see and Charlie got to climb aboard the truck since he was a fireman and all. It was a fun night to shared with some friends.

How fun that you have a group of friends with kids all the same ages! I have that here too and it's really nice. Everyone's costumes looked great!
