Happy Valentine's Day

The kids and I celebrated Valentine's Day last night by eating red velvet pancakes with cream cheese syrup.  We also ate eggs so it wasn't like we were eating just dessert.  Charlie had been asking for red pancakes for a few weeks, so I figured Valentine's Day was a good time for them.  He helped me make them and he gobbled them up last night and this morning.  Reese was pretty happy to eat them as well. 

 

 

 

Charlie had a great time at school today celebrating Valentine's Day.  They had a big party and he brought home a bag of treats.  He especially loved his blue bag since blue is his favorite color right now.  Isn't it very festive for this holiday?

 

 

Reese looked very cute in her heart shirt, but it was hard to get a good picture of her.  Here's one with her waving at the camera.

 

And Wes spoiled me again with a Brighton bracelet we both have looked at for a couple of years.  I love it.  Bring on short sleeved shirts and a bit of a tan, and it will look great.
