Easter 2015

We've had a wonderful Easter weekend, that coincided nicely with General Conference weekend.  So we've been well nourished spiritually and physically.  I love that the kids were excited about it being General Conference this weekend and knowing that they were going to see the prophet and apostles on the TV speaking to us.  And of course they were excited for Easter and for egg hunts.  We had one with some friends yesterday.  They loved getting eggs filled with yummy treats and being able to run around outside for a while.  They needed to burn off some energy, so it was a great combination.  We came home dyed eggs during the last session of conference.  They turned out bright.  We woke up this morning to the sun shining bright.  Once Wes got home from work, the Easter Bunny hid eggs around our front area, and the kids were beyond excited.  They loved getting candy and some coins.  And they each got a present too, which helped entertain them during the conference sessions today.  We had a nice Easter dinner together and then spend part of FHE watching the church videos on the resurrections.  The kids love the Bible videos, and they do an excellent job portraying the events.  So it was a nice weekend, and we got to spend today together as a family, which doesn't happen to often lately.  We'll take every moment we can.
