Our shooting adventure

Saturday I had to take a break from studying so Kelley and I went to the local gun club and perforated paper. We took my little Browning A-bolt, 243 and sighted it in to get it ready for deer season which starts in a month or so in Maryland. At first it was shooting high and right so we adjusted it down and right and it was hitting slightly high at 100 yards. Along with paper targets we also took a water bottle to blast just for fun. Kelley was brave and shot at her own target and exploded the bottle for us! It was pretty awesome, she hit it dead center and split it cleanly down the back. Way to go hunna! It was fun watching Kelley shoot. She was a little scared of the gun because of the jolting recoil and the loud crack, but she was brave and shot it anyway just to impress me. Just kidding... She would rest the gun on the sandbags and move her head frontwards and backwards to find the perfect view through the scope while shifting the gun on the sandbags to line up the crosshairs with the bullseye. She was so deliberate with her shots that her eyes would go funny. Anyway, she did very well and was a scary good shot. She was really proud of her shooting so we saved her target so she could take it to work with her tomorrow.
