Kelley and I ran down to Washington on Saturday to go to the temple. We sure miss having it ten minutes away! I think that Kelley at one point lived closer to the temple in DC than when she grew up in Utah. It was a nice break from school and work and cleaning the little townhouse regardless. We had a fantastic session and it was very much needed. We are pretty spoiled to be able to go to one of the most beautiful temples there is, and ever has been. I am sure that King Solomon's Temple wasn't as near as pretty as the DC Temple even though it was supposedly arrayed in gold and all sorts of precious metals. When we go down, we are almost invariably there late Saturday afternoon. Everyone in the temple district must go there on Saturday morning because there are rarely many people there so it makes for a super peaceful session. After the temple we had to stop by CT and get burritos. We feel kind of awkward going into California Tortilla with its goofy, Chuckie Cheese like ambiance all dressed up in our Sunday best, but it is one of our favorites and we look forward to going there. Friday after my exam in renal medicine, we watched We Are Marshall and had a really good pizza. It was a good movie, but it wore me out emotionally. Kelley liked it though. It brought back a lot of memories of dealing with loved one's passing away. I was hoping for a fun uplifting football movie! Oh well. We hope that you all are having a fantastic week! We are already looking forward to seeing many of you over the holidays!
