Charlie went on his first long road trip over Labor Day weekend. We went to visit Judd, Jeannie, and the kids in Dayton, Ohio since we hadn't seen them since Christmas and they hadn't met Charlie yet. It was an 8 hour drive with a couple stops along the way, but Charlie sure was a trooper. We left around 5:30 in the morning on Friday so Charlie would still be sleeping and we could make it in the early afternoon. It worked out perfectly. We had so much fun seeing Judd and Jeannie's new home and playing with the kids. Monday was my birthday, and it was so fun spending it with some more family. Jeannie made an awesome ice cream cake that I loved, and we went to Cheesecake Factory for dinner. It was way yummy. So that was a fun day. We had a great weekend in Dayton and Charlie loved meeting his cousins. They were so cute to him. Thanks for everything Judd and Jeannie. We love and miss you.
