I can't believe it's been a month since we last blogged. It's been pretty busy with Wes getting all his applications in for residency and studying for his Step II medical boards, getting ready to go to SLC for quite a while, and just the daily grind of things. But we made it through September with no problems and made it to SLC with all our luggage and Charlie going on his 7th one way flight in just over 7 months of his life. He's a pro at flying now, although he's much more vocal now than he was before.
We're having fun being in Utah with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. The day we flew in, Rad, Laura, and Jack drove in from San Francisco for a week as a surprise to everyone. We had so much fun. We went on a picnic with Uncle Bruce, went to the Discovery Museum with Cooper, Hank, and Mariah, went out to eat a lot per Rad's request on restaurants, and just had a jolly ole time. Charlie loves when his cousins are around. He laughs at all of them. This video is a few shots of the fun we had.
Wes is enjoying his orthopaedic rotation at the University of Utah. He's gone a lot, but he's having a good time. Charlie has his first tooth with another close behind. He's definitely been fussier with his teething, but he's good sport. He's also been spied clapping, trying to crawl, eating his first puffies, and standing while leaning against things. He's growing up quickly. That's the update for now. I should be much better at posting things now that we're settled for a while.
