Last Friday, Wes had a couple of hours off before he had to go back for call. We haven't seen a ton of Wes during this rotation, so we were really glad to have some time to spend together. We decided to take a drive up the Alpine Loop to see all the beautiful fall leaves (and as a side note...Utah is having an absolutely beautiful fall. The mountains are just gorgeous this year). The drive was fun, although we missed most of the good leaves by about a week. But it was great to see snow on the mountain tops, the evergreens, and the rest of the fall leaves on such a beautiful day. Charlie slept through the whole drive with the sun warming his face. After, we stopped at Vivian Park up Provo Canyon and took some pictures. We caught some fun shots. We introduced Charlie to BYU with a quick stop at the Creamery and a visit with his Uncle Chris. It was a fun afternoon.
