Charlie and Reese

Charlie has been so good with Reese.  He was so excited for baby "Coco" before she arrived and kept pointing out all of her things like the pack 'n play, swing, bouncer, and car seat, plus all her clothes.  I wasn't sure how he'd react once she was really here, but so far he's exceeded any hopes.  He came to see her in the hospital and he gave her kisses and kept smiling big at her.  It was so cute.  And maybe it helped that Reese had some new cars for Charlie to have.  And since we've been home, he keeps wanting to hold her, and he puts both arms around her in a protective manner.  After his nap today, she was sleeping in the swing, and he just wanted to sit and look at her.  He's been sharing Ike, his favorite stuffed animal, and giving her all sorts of things to cuddle with  It's been very sweet.  Hopefully it will keep up, at least for the most part.  I'm sure we'll have a few days when he'll want to send her back to wherever she came from.  Reese has been a sweet addition to our family.
