We sure do have an amazing group in our ortho year. I love these families for so many reasons. We had a BBQ at the Stapinski's home on Saturday to celebrate the guys being finished with 2nd year. It was so much fun as we just relaxed, watched the kids play, talked, and ate a lot of good food. The fact that we could all get together is in and of itself a big deal because there is no way this could have happened as a 2nd year resident since at least one of the guys was working at any given time. Now we can actually all get together and not have someone left out. Charlie had a great time playing in the sandbox, on the slides and swings, and just running around the yard with the other kids. He even had his first roasted marshmallow. And Reese was so good sitting with Wes and me and trying to walk around on the grass. It was a great evening, and I look forward to more to come.
