Reese turned one yesterday, and we had such a great day. It started off with her sleeping until 9 AM, which is the first time that happened. She looked so cute in her adorable tutu dress, and she was generally happy all day. Charlie was excited it was Reese's birthday as well. He was pretty nice to her and totally wanted to help me decorate her cake. Wes got home at a decent time, and we had a dinner of spaghetti and meatballs and of course birthday cake. Reese seemed to like the spaghetti, but she loved her birthday cake (mostly the frosting). And she loved all of her gifts. She got a baby doll and doll stroller from G&G Flint, and G&G Robins sent her my rocking chair from when I was a little girl and a baby doll. She got a third baby doll from us, along with a new book, bath towel, clothes, and eventually she'll get a new car seat. She loves her baby dolls. She gives them hugs and giggles. She's such a sweetie. We love our Reese and feel so blessed to have her in our lives. She keeps things happy, and it's fun to see her growing.
