Sacred Grove

After getting ready and a quick breakfast at McDonald's, we headed over to the LDS spots before we drove back to Hummelstown.  We took a quick look at the temple and then headed over to the Joseph Smith farm.  It was a really hot and humid day, so we went through the houses and barn quickly.  Then we walked over to the Sacred Grove.  It's a neat experience to be in there and to know what happened.  I'm so glad that we could check it out, despite the heat.  When we finished up with the sites, we headed back home.  About half way home, a car flagged us that one of our tires was low, so we pulled over, and sure enough it was low on air.  We filled it up with air and continued to drive to Williamsport where we could get the tire fixed.  There was a nail in our tire that we had picked up somewhere.  I was so glad my dad was there with us to help me find a place to get it fixed.  All things car related just make me nervous.  It was Reese's birthday.  We were celebrating it on Sunday once Wes was back, but she did ask for pizza for dinner.  We found a great place that had yummy pizza, so Reese was happy.  She's even kept telling us that she is now 2.  The rest of the drive was pretty uneventful and we made it home in good time.  It was a fun, quick trip - one I'm glad that I could share with my parents.
