I was able to escape my intern year for a few days during the middle of October to go hunting with the Robins for a few days in South Dakota. We had great weather, the lodging was excellent, and the food was phenomenal, not to mention the excellent hunting. There has got to be more pheasants per square mile than there are field mice. Above is a shot of our first day with Rich and Chris.
Rad and Judd met up with us for our second day of the hunt. It was Rad's first time pheasant hunting, but he learned quickly how it was done. It was warm enough to wear tee shirts.
Here is the shot at the end of our second day. We were busy all day as you can see.
Here is a picture of Austin, Steve Bowler's son. He came along and had a great time too. He enjoyed a little SpongeBob on our way to the hunt. Our third day was a little rainy, but we still had a great time.
We all had a great time. I am looking forward to next year!!!
